Beautiful crackle glaze, John. The glaze color and earthy contrast of the transition of the edge where the glaze is thin and breaking over reminds me of a slab of chalcedony that I had had for many years. Stunning!

Very nice. I love crackle glazes. I had a great recipe and somehow lost it:(
I have other recipes that work ok, but not as good as the one I lost.

Sylvia....... if you are talking about applying over stoneware clay bodies at about Orton cone 9-10, ge the C.O.E. of your feldspathic glaze up to about 8 and you'll be happy.
