Whiting 11.36%
Wood Ash (unwashed) 54.56%
Potash Feldspar 11.36%
Ball Clay 11.36%
Silica (Flint) 11.36%
Total: 100.00%
For green, add:
Copper Carbonate 4%
For blue, add:
Cobalt Carbonate 2%

    Is there a suitable substitute for Wood Ash?
    There’s a glaze recipe for synthetic wood ash(from book, “Oriental Glazes” by Michael Bailey - can this be used?
