The Month in Clay - December 2009
‘Tis the season for giving, and what better way to celebrate than by giving your loved ones handmade gifts? I’m sure many of you will be making gifts, but in case you run out of time to make something for everyone on your list (it is almost December! Yikes!), I am posting some highlights of the fabulous holiday ceramics sales that are going on this season. I thought the festive decoration on the jars at left by Emily Free Wilson, which are included in Northern Clay Center’s “‘Tis a Gift” event, were the perfect opener to this post because the decoration reminded me of holiday lights. Hopefully these jars, and the great stuff below will get you fired up for the holidays! If you don’t find something in your area below, be sure to check out the Ceramics Monthly calendar for a more comprehensive listing of ceramics events from around the globe! |
